Read a SWIFT-Like Message Safely
Paste a short, non-confidential specimen or load an example. The reader labels familiar field tags and highlights the distinction between message structure and operative banking terms.
Do not paste live customer information, private bank communications, account numbers, credentials, trade secrets or personal data. The tool does not send text to a server, but this page may still load standard site analytics. For real decisions use your bank.
Choose a specimen message and select Explain fields. Field labels are simplified and may differ by message version and exact sequence.
What this tool cannot tell you
- Whether any bank actually issued or received the message.
- Whether the underlying transaction is genuine or lawful.
- Whether any guarantee or standby is operative, drawable or enforceable.
- Whether a financier will lend, discount or “monetise” it.
Compare the output against the actual governing terms and the current SWIFT standards; ask your bank for authoritative confirmation.
